“ Delicious food and cocktails! Average prices for SF. Kind service, but kind of distant. Have to wave down to ask for more food/beverages. Love the decor, artwork and bar! Menu matches the vibe ~ churros were a little too crunchy. Overall every bite and sip was yummy ”
“ Beautiful space. Perhaps the nicest in the Castro. Attentive service. Lighting could be a little softer. Food is perfect - nothing to complain about. ”
“ Super cute spot in the Castro that I recently discovered based on the recommendation of friends- we came here on a Thursday night for dinner and it seemed like there were a lot of reservations, but were able to get a high top table with stools without a wait ~ 630 PM. It seems like they have a great happy hour menu that ends at 6 pm, as well as some taco Tuesday deals! The ambiance was top notch, and this is a great spot for a date! Regarding the food: The fish tacos Quesa Tacos, and the Queso fundido (latter both with mushrooms), were absolutely fire. The guacamole was OK- I would give it a 3.5/5 because it desperately needed salt, and would not order it again. Otherwise this is a great spot for some good food, cute ambiance, excellent service, and it is relatively easy to get a table! Highly recommend, and will be coming back to try their taco Tuesday deals. ”
“ This spot has a really great bottomless brunch drink deal, which includes a variety of mimosa and sangria flavors. I also had the chilaquiles with avocado, which were delicious. I added their house hot sauce for a little heat which really completed the flavor. ”
“ Santeria is accommodating for a large group. We were able to make a reservation the day of a Sunday brunch and were able to be seated immediately. They had many nice decorations surrounding our seating area along with a chips bar area. We did bottomless drinks and were able to try many unique flavors, which Strawberry and Mango being my favorites and the Michelada tasting more questionable. I tried the Baby Breakfast Burrito and Fish Tacos. The Baby Breakfast Burrito was a good size despite it mentioning "baby," and the Fish Tacos were delicious and flavorful. I'd love to try this place again as a regular meal, without the mimosas. ”
“ Quiet on a Sunday early evening; I bet they had a hoppin' brunch! After we were seated, we had to wait a few minutes for menus and water while people rushed around setting up for dinner service. We were famished and started ordering immediately. I correctly suspected allll the food was going to come out immediately and asked them to pace the last two plates. Oops, too late. Timing was an issue, food was great though, loved the Mexican Wings, meaty and double fried with lots of garlic and just the right amount of heat. Guacamole de Casa was very good with extra puffy vegan chicharrones (both $13) that were a crunchy and savory surprise. Fish tacos ($16) were delicious and filling with generous pieces of battered mahi mahi. BBQ nachos with tequila and chile de Arbol marinated chicken were inhaled in a new land speed record ($14). Put Santeria on your list if you're in the mood for delicious tacos and outstanding margaritas. ”
“ Came to Santeria on a Saturday after looking for spots that had waitlists or took reservations. We had a hard time finding parking so we were running late, but staff were understanding when we called ahead. The indoor/outdoor seating options are nice, especially on a sunny day in the city. Our server was very attentive and warm, and we were able to stay and chat for a bit. We ordered the fish tacos and huevos rancheros - both were great. I loved how crispy the fish was, and the ratio of fish to taco was pretty impressive. I still get sticker shock paying 15+ for tacos, but they were really good. Overall, I'd definitely come back to Santeria to try more of their menu, for the service and general ambiance. We had a lovely time. ”
“ Santeeia was right off Market Street. Parking was not too hard on Noe Street, a block away. The indoor and outdoor space was cute and the parklet are dog friendly. All the food was pretty and the usual - tad expensive Mexican food. They also had an all you can drink mimosa for $35 and required full table to participate. We didn't get it since not everyone wanted a beverage. We had lemonade, sparkling water and someone got the margarita flight. It was pretty and enough for two people to share. Chips and Salsa were not complimentary, which is diff then other places and cost $3. Service was ok until we wanted to pay. After all the food was dropped off, our server did not return for a long time. So long that we had to give up and go in to ask for the check ourselves. Total came to about $50/person. It's ok overall; will return when convenient. ”
“ Came here to say for happy hour and what a fantastic place to get drinks after work or just for fun! My boyfriend got the HH quesadillas and they were to his liking, simple, but full of plenty of cheese and chicken. I opted for nachos, and it was also extremely tasty, full of carnitas. The margaritas were well done and the service was great. The HH menu has so many options so definitely something for everyone here. ”
